The Cognac appellation is welcoming five journalists and influencers to its region. During their stay, they will visit the houses and producers and enjoy unforgettable experiences.
From January 22 to 27, 2023 five American journalists and influencers will experience an unforgettable adventure in the region:
Rich Manning – Los Angeles, CA
He is a writer and spirits and food competition judge based in Los Angeles. This freelance writer, writes for liquor.com, VinePair, InsideHook ou encore LA Taco.
Camille Wilson – New York, NY
She is an author, blogger and social media.
In November, she published her first book, Free Spirit Cocktails: 40 Nonalcoholic Drink Recipes.
Jason O’Bryan– San Diego, TX
He’s been managing cocktail bars for the last twelve years, first in Boston and now in San Diego, where he’s been making, educating, writing about, and yes, also drinking cocktails.
Saeed “Hawk” House – Los Angeles, CA
The West-Hollywood based mixologist has a popular Instagram account where he shares video tutorials and cocktail recipes.
Ivy Mix – Brooklyn, NY
Ivy has inspired the nation to rethink women’s role behind the bar. She co-founded with Lynnette Marrero Speed Rack a national cocktail competition that creates a platform for female bartenders while simultaneously raising money for breast cancer related charities. Speed Rack was the trade partner for the Cognac Connection Challenge.
As part of its campaign to promote the Cognac geographical indication in the United States, the appellation is organizing trips to the region for American influencers and journalists to help them (re)discover the terroir in order to better appreciate the diversity of this unique spirit.
