COGNAC TO CROWN THE WINNER OF ITS BARTENDER COMPETITION MONDAY JUNE 26 IN SHANGHAI
On Monday June 26, the Cognac interprofession will be in Shanghai to crown the winner of its bartenders competition organized in China.
This summer, the Cognac appellation travelled from the north to the south of China to select six bartenders from a host of experts for a competition on Cognac cocktails.
These six bartenders will meet in Shanghai on Monday June 26 to try and impress a jury of bartenders, Cognac Educatosr and industry journalists with their original creations.
The competition, hosted by internationally renowned bartender Eddy Yang, will begin with a presentation of the selection process and the six candidates.
These candidates will then have the opportunity to test their noses with a “blind tasting” aimed at identifying the different categories of Cognac presented. They will then present their creations to the jury: a cocktail on its own and a cocktail to accompany a local specialty for a food pairing moment, all Cognac based of course.
List of the finalists:
Jack Pan
Eden Shao Peiyi
Fancy Jiyuanyuan Ji
Vinson Wei Zhongsheng
Claude Chen Jiyun
Shawn Chen Jiali
